Can I increase my storage space?
We offer a few special upgrade packages, details of which are available on our price list. If you have an existing subscription and wish to upgrade your account we will pro-rate your upgrade to synchronise with your next subscription due date. Upgrades can be purchased within our payment portal. All prices quoted are PER YEAR.
Can I access my emails via the web?
Yes. All members who have a full account can check their emails from anywhere in the world. We provide an excellent webmail facility that is geared towards ease of use and worldwide compatibility. The webmail interface also has a multitude of options which more advanced users can configure to suit their needs.
Can I access my emails via an email client such as Outlook?
Yes. Members with a full account can use any email client to read their emails. Even certain mobile phones! We support both POP and IMAP and also offer an SMTP server which you can connect to to send out your emails. For mail program configuration details please see the relevant article in our Help section.
Do you offer Website Hosting?
Judge Email for Life does offer simple personal web hosting. This allows you to publish a website using the online storage that we give you. This is for personal, non-commercial use. The webspace allows files in HTML and Graphic formats. Script and Database support is not included. FTP access is provided to upload your files.

If your username is yourname@domain.com the website address would be http://www.domain.com/users/yourname (with a shortcut: http://www.domain.com/~yourname)

If you own your own domain you would be welcome to point your domain to this page. Contact your domain registrar for instructions on how to do this (ask them about "Domain Forwarding").

You can add webhosting to your account by visiting the upgrade page and selecting the webhosting bolt on. Full access instructions are emailed to you once payment has been made.

How do I add an alias to my account?
You may wish to have more than one working address. For example one with your full name and a shorter one with only your initials. Rather than having the bother of opening and running two separate accounts we offer an alias upgrade.

This is like having two accounts but combines them into your primary existing account. Email to either address arrives in your normal inbox, for a minimal £3/year.

To add an alias please go to our upgrades page.

Once it is set up emails to that alias will work within a few minutes. You can also set up your webmail account to use the alias for outbound emails via Webmail > OPTIONS > Personal Information.

I would like more than free webmail, what enhanced options are available?
Further to all features as offered in the free webmail account, users, for a minimal annual fee, can also benefit from higher storage capacities (from 100MB), remote mail access (Outlook/ mobile via IMAP/POP, sending mail via private servers (authenticated SMTP) and a personal web hosting option. I would like to upgrade my webmail account to a full service email account – what do I do?
Upgrading to enhanced options is easy, simply go to the upgrade page to subscribe. [link to secure gateway] 
What happens to my account once I leave the Business School at the end of my programme?
As an exiting student (2008 matriculation and beyond), the University of Cambridge is kindly supporting the Enhanced option for all users for the first 12 months. After this 12 month trial your account will automatically revert to free of charge webmail unless renewed. Applications from past alumni will still receive 3 months free Enhanced-level service.
